Acorn; A Diabetic Kitty

"Pet Tales: Friday Edition" - another chance for us to thank you for your donations and share with you how your donated funds help the pets of Sammie's Friends and the animals of Nevada County.

Meet Acorn. This super sweet senior was found by a Good Samaritan. The cat was located down a ravine and the finder had to rescue her. Acorn was dirty, had a matted coat and was extremely skinny. She was starving for food and attention.

Acorn was seen by the Vet. and it was determined that Acorn is a diabetic. This hasn't broken her spirit! Acorn is enthusiastic about her pets, attention and food. She's a beautiful, loving girl who deserves to live out her days being pampered and loved.

We are searching for a kind hearted Foster to take Acorn into their home as she required multiple monitored meals a day as well as insulin injections.
