Beverley is the owner of The Canine Academy, which is also home to Sammie's Pit Stop.  The Pit Stop houses some of our shelter dogs that need extra time and care to learn how to be a good dog.

Beverley specifically works with canine aggression rehabilitation and behavior modification. She is a volunteer at Sammie’s Friends Nevada County Animal Shelter in the mornings, and in the afternoons she works with private clients.

Beverley's shelter mornings are dedicated to assessing the new shelter dogs and working with those that need extra help.  She brings her pack of trusted dogs every day to help socialize our shelter dogs and give them some playtime in the exercise yard.
